    Corrupt Iomega File!!

Does anybody know of any software that might be able to recover a corrupt backup image from an iomega zip drive? The file is named image.113

I have a client who backed up her peachtree data to a zip disk & unfortunately recovered the wrong backup in peachtree & is back to the year(s) 2000-2001. She now has no data from the year 2002. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have already spoke to Iomega's tech support. Two seperate techs have suggested that the file is corrupt. Thanks again.

PS--The backup on the zip disk is the only backup she has from 2001 until now.

Unhappy You may be outa luck....

.... you need to use the 'verify' option when you make backups with zip disks ... they ain't the best method of backup in town, infact they stink!!!! as you now know zip disks aren't overly reliable....

Read this for 'typical' experiences .....

You can give Riterecovery a whirl if its that critical ... there's a 'free' download that'll tell you if it can recover it....

The best advice I can give, which I know is useless now ... is to use another backup method which is more reliable, sorry
