Ext Zip100 interfering with parallel pass through to Canon printers
I am having problems getting the parallel pass-through on my external zip100 drive. It seems to be interfering with my Canon BJC-4100 receiving output. The spooler seems to be working fine but nothing prints out, as if the printer is not there. I have tried reinstalling the printer with the zip drive up & running but still no go. I seem to remember seeing a simple but annoying fix involving whether the printer is connected and/or powered up when the system boots up but can no longer find that reference. I had seen this when browsing forums & of course did not keep the reference. Thanks.

I dont recommend this man. what you might want to do is install an extra parallel card or maybe even a USB to Parallel adapter and use the USB ports....
