    how did it get open??

    ok.. did a fresh install of win2k like 2 weeks ago, and just the other day i used nmap on myself, and somehow i got a ms-sql port open... anyone know wtf is goin on????

    What is the port number, in Task Mananger any sql services running and what is loading at startup?

    nope, no sql services running...

    what would services/other stuff would i have to kill to get rid of it?

    and ive been thru the services manager a couple times looking for stuff that i dont need, and there was no mention of sql in there anywhere
