    Unhappy Laptop Screen?

Hey guys my laptop is doing something very weird. The screen Very Very faintly flickers. It is almost unnoticeable until you stare for a while. Any thoughts?

    How fast is the flicker?

LCD screen? Old enough for the backlight to be ageing?

It is random and quick. The laptop is a new HP ze4115.

Yup, when I see LCDs on my workstations flickering, I groan, because it means I'll have to rip the display apart and replace a backlight. I usually try the inverter first, since they're cheap and easy to replace.....probably not so on a laptop, though.

been seeing a lot of hp notebooks with bad displays recently. If your laptop is under 30 days old, return it to where you bought it and have it replaced as DOA.
