Low Resources running Word 2000
Hi Gang
I have a customer machine on the bench that is running 384mg PC133 memory. The hard drive is hardly used and every program loaded works great with the exception of MS Word 2000. When you attempt to start the program the machine hangs on the startup screen for Word and after about a minute pops up an error message stating that resources are extremely low. The only way out is to reset.
I have tried new ram, reinstalling Word, killing everything not vital in the startup file..........all the standard stuff.
The real weird thing is that this only occurs in Word 2000
Any ideas???
Thanks in advance

First thing to do is boot to safe mode and delete normal.dot.
When you boot to normal mode after and fire up word, it will recreate a fresh copy. If that doesn't stop it, then reinstall service packs 1 and 2, and get 3 if available.
