Hi!
My question is about floppy 1.44
Sometimes when I try to search a floppy computer just freeze and only reset can help.
But allways in DOS when I go to floppy computer restart immediately, like
a:/[Enter] = Restart
or in Norton, or anywhere else...

Sounds like a screwy FDD or FDD Controller.

One thing more: I use 98 and 2000, and in the second one it does not happened at all.
FDD is working prop. Controller?.. hmm...
I think the prob. is in driver (may be - I don't know), but if it is so, which drivers must be changed... In DOS mostly (?)

It may be a motherboard issue, check with your mobo manufacturer to see if they have a BIOS update you need.
