    GTA3 With a Voodoo 2?

    Hey yall, just wonderin if anyone knows of any patch or trick to get GTA3 to run with opengl drivers, so I can get it goin with my voodoo 2 card (onboard VGA yields about 2fps!).

    If its a standard voodoo 2, you have 12 mb video ram. GTA3 requires 32mb... I am surprised it runs at all.

    I know it well, mate, but it ignores the fact when running with my 8 meg onboard! so i thought there might be a workaround.

    I know a great workaround.

    Buy a new graphics card.

    well.... I would if I wasnt in debt to the tune of a couple of grand with no source of income and a car in need of repair....

    oh and not to mention a mobo with no agp......

    If you dcide to get a new video card, I have noticed a lot of PCI 64MB and up ATI cards around at local computer stores in my area.

    They are usually fairly cheap too

    yeah, I'm finalising arrangements tomorrow, photo shoot next week.

    Ah, that would be a pci card I'm in need of, Adept.

    Anyway, anyone heard of 3dfx/opengl patches? I heard somethin a while back then nothin.
