My mouse keeps freezing
5 times today mymouse as frozen and i have had to reboot, and it is annoying me.
Not only that, every few minutes it will stop and freeze, but then be ok, and as i say, sometimes i just completely freezes.
It;s one of those mouses that doesn't need a mouse pad to run, forget the name, and it's USB.
Anyone help pls?
Thanks

Anti-virus software running in the background ????
Manytimes anti-virus software will make the mouse act crazy....
Have you updated it lately?
Did the problem start about then, if so maybe the next update will solve the mouse problem....

Maybe you should try one of those mouse cozy's. Those are so cute! And they keep your mouse nice a toasty.

Do you mean in the background when the computer loads?

Tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it?
what make and model, a new driver might help
Try swapping the adsl modem to the other usb port, and the mouse where the adsl modem is.

BTW, your 'mouse' is called a TRACKBALL. Alot of people say its better for playing games because it isn't limited to the size of the mousepad.
What software or hardware have you installed or taken out in the last two days?
