    Outlook Express for Win95

    OK, So I get call from user who needs help setting up Outlook Exp to our IMAP server, yes SSL and all the other security settings to go along with it...

    Bottom line what is the most recent version of OE that i can get on a win95B machine and where can i get it? I didnt see much on Microsofts web site.

    User had OE 4.7 and things just werent working out no send and receive, lots of SSL errors, had user check credentials... Had her upg to a more recent version of IE (which...read on

    Also I THOUGHT that the OE upgrade was part of the IE upgrade, well user went from 4.x to 5.5 and no Outlook Exp upgrade??????

    Have her perform the IE 5.5 upgrade again. This time select the custom upgrade and have her confirm OE is selected.

    Tried to upgrade IE twice, AOL Dial up user, connection keeps timing out. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


    IE upgraded but not OE, Need OE upgrade because Exchange 2K's IMAP4 Doesnt support below OE 5.x

    Are you using the ie5.5 sp2 update?

    You tried downloading ie 5 first then going to ie5.5?
