Issue with A: Drive
For some reason, I'm having an issue with a brand new install of Win2k Pro on my MSI KT400 MB. Everytime I open IE, that includes popups as well, or basically any program, the thing does a floppy seek. I don't know what the issue is. Any help on this would be really appreciated because it slows everything down on my computer.

I'm using NortonAV, as far as I know it is not set to do a floppy seek when there is no disk in the drive. I've cleared recent files, and no improvement. This is driving me crazy, I need some more ideas.

Kymera, just a thought, how does Norton "know" there is no floppy in the drive? - If you turn off drive a: scanning altogether, is there an improvement?
