    wierd port

    Interesting ports on (142.51.3.xxx):
    Port State Protocol Service
    22 open tcp ssh
    135 open tcp loc-srv
    139 open tcp netbios-ssn
    1437 open tcp tabula

this is the output i get from running nmap on nmap on my comp one nite when at a lan party.

im interested to know if anyone knows wtf the tabula port is. i recently installed cygwin on my comp to get the ssh port, but tonite is the first that it has shown up.. this is buggin me because i dont like strange ports open on my box.

It appears on registered service lists for that port, but I haven't found any explanation of what it is.

Mmm, do any on-line purchasing? Looks to me like it's for on-line access to a Tabula database. It's registered to Marcelo Einhorn who is R&D Manager of Eshbel Technologies. Apparrently they do E-Commerce products like Priority E-Com and Links which handles database stuff like SQL and Tabula.

    Anybody know more?
