    Unhappy everything works accept...........

    anyone have any ideas on this one? have a friend who just installed SBL and has gotten almost everything right. the problem is when he uses the port on the SBL card his joystick is not recognized as being connected. Therefore he is unable to start any type of configuration. Joystick worked fine with the onboard hardware, kbut doesn't seem to like the card? All onboard sound has been disabled on the board so as to enable Live! Trying to sell him on the Aureal 2500, but would like to see the Live! work for him.

    In device manager is there a branch called creative miscellaneous devices? Also is there a creative gameport joystick installed under this branch?

    If not I wonder if the old joystick controller using MSJSTICK.DRV If the old joystick controller is in device manager try removing it.
