    Working Saturday?

    As I sit here bored out of my skull trying to find some decent flash games I have played yet, I wonder

    Im new to the community and how many of you get to work on Sat. ?

    I'm not working but I'm on call meaning they are not paying me to be working but as soon as there is a problem I'm gonna be working. When I worked helpdesk we had weekend hours and they wouldn't let me work them much cause there were like Noooooo calls and I was one of their better people during the week (no rest for the weary).

    We do upgrades to the system once in a while on Saturdays but I'm not at the point where they let me help much (I'm still a peon in the networking dept.).

    I work most saturdays,I like the overtime.I don't mind.

    all I would do is sit around here @ WD and drink beer and watch sports anyway! LOL

    Yup. I'm sitting here at work on Saturday, busting my hump. I have recently talked the boss into letting me off one Sat a month.

    No games, but there is the occassional pause to ogle at Jennifer Garner's Daredevil pics.

    I go into the office 2 Saturdays every month, it's the only time I can get things done without any disturbances, and the overtime money's worth it. Keeps me out of trouble!

    Before this war thing, I worked only one weekend a month...now, I think things are going to suck. I will have a minimum of three 24hr days a month...and will have to stay for work the next day.

    i'm working sunday.

    and president's day..

    have to redo some of the patch wall cabling because the previous network guy was an idiot, and i can't do it with users logged on, so its either 3am or a holiday.
