Which car do you like and why?

I haven't done a poll in a while and I was curious as to what you guys all thought were good vehicles.

My apologies if I left out a particular brand/manufacturer.

I've had 4 GM cars in the last 5 years and only two small issues that were taken care of immediatly at no cost to me. Also, one of those cars was a new 1998 Monte Carlo with leather. That car was soooo comfortable to ride in that it was almost a pleasure to be stuck in Atlanta traffic. ...almost.

I have a 02 Nissan and a 02 Toyota and a 87 Mazda,
I think all three are good vehicles.
I like Nissan as a Brand of preference,Nissan is my 1st choice.
I have had Ford's and GM's too,I like ford over GM.
I think GM makes some of the crappiest cars.

I also work on all brands of vehicles for my job,I see what and how they are put together,actually most modern vehicles are ok.

but again,to answer your question,I like my Xterra the best.

I like the Hyundai for the warranty, I know Kia has the same warry, but I don't like their quality. I have had 2 Elantra's in 2 years ( Girlfriend wrecked the other one! ) and not a single problem with either. I must admit, I would love to own an Excursion, but not the payments....

Honda - Fantastic engines
Ford - I like em, I've owned a few, later ones don't exactly seem to be the same, solid quality.
Kia - I drive one as a company vehicle for my on-the-side work, it's small, cheap, not exactly a Roller, but a good little motor (has 95000 miles on it and runs like new).

Anyone who knows me knows I also like Land Rovers, particularly Series 3's and 101's. They are slow, fuel-heavy, unreliable, uncomfortable, but I like em - never could work out why.

I also love Reliants - a British car manufacturer, famous for it's 3-wheeled vehcles, but also built some other really amazing stuff.

I used to own one a little like this, but race-prepped. I'm currently working on a four-wheeler, pickup conversion.

Never liked Vauxhall's, they're the UK branch of GM.

got to love peogeots , i run a 205 diesel ,,,,and with a drum of "red" i get 340 miles ,,,naughty i know ,,,but when it cost u 4 tins of beer ,,it GOOD ,,

am in the process of getting a 106 , 1.5l diesel i think they are a good car.

in the uk you have to take into account the heavy fuel tax and road tax ,,

so much as i would like a large car ,,they are inpractical.

ya! I just saw a story this morning on your "congestion charges" ??!?!?!?! the new C $,it's suppose to minimize traffic!

I love my Acura (Honda), I've got 128,000 miles on it now and so far the only things I've had to replace were brake pads a few times and the starter. Every feature on the car still works, the sunroof doesn't leak even a drop and there is no rattling from parts becoming loose over age. Plus it still handles like brand spanking new, the steering is as tight as a two year old....well, you know. Every light inside and out still works too.

I think I've jinxed myself just about enough.

Of those that I can afford....my Mazda B2300 pickup has served me well over the years. Plan on keeping it many more years.

Yeah, it sucks owning a car in this country. London is best avoided anyway.

I'm thinking about getting another Land Rover, they run forever on "red", agriculutural diesel (some cars fuel pumps aren't happy with the stuff, but, that said, what's a the price of a fuel pump relative to what you save anyway?).

Anyone know anythign about the legalities of running on vegatable oil? I hear that, as long as you update your V5, it's legal?

I just purchased a new car last month, I bought a Subaru Imperza WRX... All I have to say is this car rocks!

The cleetus is a Mustang man. Gonna have to buy a new one when the '05 model comes out. Drive a '98 right now. Pretty and mostly stable cars for not too much money. Personally, I can't justify paying a lot of money for an investment that is continually depreciating.

You can never go wrong with a jeep, they are tough, look cool, got the convertable top, very safe (if you are not a idiot--see previous thread "its been a day") and girls love them!! (every girl I know loves jeeps and wants to ride in it durring the summer with the top down)
