Finally got it back!!!
Well, I had to drop my DSL when my wife and I bought our new house becuase Bellsouth doesn't run lines in this area. The only DSL service we can get is through the local phone company for $99 a month for 512 down and 128 up. So I decided to go with Comcast which is turning out very nice thus far.
Here are your results. Status:
Test completed...
Bandwidth = 1602.3 Kbps
The lowest I've seen it go - Saturday evening around 4-5 was 1295 Kbps
w00t!

Feels like your messages are appearing much faster now too!
That's excellent speeds, BTW. I'm guessing it's less than 99$ a month?

It's a little more expensive than my last DSL service. It's $55 plus $5 rental for the modem and I haven't decided whether or not I want to buy a modem (prolly won't considering it's only $5) since I'm not a cable subscriber... I'm not giving up my DirecTV

I couldn't do without it. We have a small TV in our bedroom just for watching movies and whatnot but it has rabbit ears on it too (local channels come in really well there and I like watching seinfeld before I go to sleep)... I still try to find the guide button on that remote

Bell Canada licenses DirectTV as ExpressVU here in Canada and my wife won a dish (Bell Sympatica/McDonalds contest) about a year and a half ago.
I just looooove the ability to watch shows at a time convenient for me.
Oh yeah, and the 24/7 access to cartoons just rocks.

Had to give up my dish when we moved up here last year from Tucson. We went with the local cable company for everything - digital cable and internet access. It's pretty darn good, but I do miss MY DISH . The reason I couldn't use the dish is there is a 7,500' mountain that blocks the whole southern sky a ½ mile south of the house!
