[RESOLVED] no sound
I can't get the sound to work on my computer (there is not even a speaker in the task bar)
When I look at device settings, the processor support has an exlcamation point and says that ntkern.vxd device loaders could not load the driver--and I can't find any updates. There is no driver for this loaded and I'm not using USB. Does this have anything to do with the sound. If yes/no can you help--I need sound.
Thanks

It is directly related. most likely its an NT driver that is not found/fails to load.
If it fails to load the speaker icon will not appear, etc.
You are in NT environment right? I would reload the sound card drivers you have or find compatible ones of a site and see if that cures it.
