Adobe Install Probs
Have installed Adobe PhotoDeluxe 4.0 on a high spec Win2000 PC. Logged on as Administrator it runs fine but logged on as normal user I can't get it to run. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still no good. Have checked all the permissions I can think of and looks to be set up correctly. I'm pulling (what's left) of my hair out. Anyone got any ideas? Am I missing something that's right in front of my eyes?

I have tried putting the user into power users group but no good I'm afraid. As power user, or just "user", I can't get it to run.!! Only works as Administrator.

See if this will work for you.
Start>Run>REGEDT32
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Double click the SOFTWARE folder
Locate the ADOBE PHOTO DELUXE folder
Click on the folder, go to the top and click on SECURITY, PERMISSIONS, select the user's name and give FULL control. This should solve the problem.
