    Doom III

DoomIII #1 Most wanted games in 2003

    Estimated Release Date: November 2003

Might as well be 2004 - Geesh - will this game ever be released? I know, it will be well worth the wait.

Not only that, I was reading that the game will be ahead of the hardware and that todays most current power machine will be maxed running it. They are kind of banking on the next generation Nvidia and Radeon cards to make this game run to its full potential.

I'm looking forward to Doom III. There wasn't any new releases for a while.

Just as long as it stands up to the HYPE.

Great, another new PC to buy just to run that game...

Ah well, this P4 2.4 should make a nice coat stand by then I guess.

I checked out the alpha just to see how things were coming, it looks very very nice, bt runs like crap even with my 2.0 and GF 4 Ti 4400.

But they will probably optimize the game alot before its release date. They dont want to make the hardware requirements too much because then it wont sell for chit

You cant use the menu to run the game, once you get to that you must use the console to launch the levels. As for the commands, you'll have to search for that

Yeah, its runs fine on my 2.0 with Gf 4 Ti, but when you fire a gun it runs at -8679 FPS

The alpha ran like crap for me until I bumped up my RAM to 512mb and it runs fine now~Of course that's at 640x480.
