General Advice?
A friend and I are going to be building our own cases out of acrylic. Anyone have any good suggestions, things to be careful of or general advice? Thanks in advance.

Patience... Measure twice (blah blah)... drill and cut very VERY slow. You'll get through it eventually. If you get through it quick, EVERYONE will be able to tell. I built an all acrylic case for a friend and it took a while but it was well worth it. Another important thing to remember is that you are making it from scratch so be creative. It doesn't matter if no one else puts hard drives at the top right corner of the rear of the case and the power supply in the front bottom. If you want to do it, do it.

And wear gloves when drilling or cutting..acrylic cuts can be worse than paper cuts

Thanks for the thoughts folks, the cases should be ready in 3-6 months (yeah, I know...). I'll post pics up here when they're done.
