    this ever happen to anyone

    ok.. has anyone either had this happen to themselves or someone else :

    my friend has a compaq, and it has a usb keyboard. for the last while when she hits the down arrow on the keyboard, it will mute her computer, and when she hits it again, it un-mutes it...

    anyone know wtf could be goin on?? software, hardware??

    she is running win98se and winamp 3 at the second

    Is it a new keyboard? Using intellitype?

    I agree with NooNoo check for hotkeys.

    Does this only happen when using Winamp 3?
