    Netbt

    Saw something on event veiwer at work yesterday. every 5 minutes and 10 seconds there is an error regarding NETBT. No one seems to know what that is much less how to fix it. I don't have much info on the set up other then it is a small network using XP desktops and a server. I do not know what the server is running.

    Just thought one of the guru's here may see it as a simple fix. All I know is an error every 5 minutes has got to be sucking up precious cycles!

    It is ''NetBios over TCP/IP'' which is basically an API that is running on top of TCP/IP in order to accomplish network related tasks.

    If you give us the specific error or event id # and the source they can be looked up on eventid.net to figure out what the problem is.
