[RESOLVED] Crackling Sound in SB PCI 64V
Hi,
anyone any idea about the following problem?:
Sometimes, like during a game, my sound does these crackling noises; sound interrupts for a short time and then is back again and so on. I already got the newest driver; AMD K6-3 400, Viper V550, Mobo K6BV3+, 128 MB Ram, 2*HDD, Hauppauge WinTV, CD-R, CD-RW,...
Thanks!

Is your sound card sharing an IRQ with another device in your system? IRQ-sharing is supposed to work in Win9x, but I've seen it cause problems quite often. Try changing the interrupt that your sound card is using by either assigning a different IRQ for the PCI slot in CMOS or moving the card to a different PCI slot.
