poor images in display
From time to time there will be pink or green tint surrounding images on my laptop screen. Is the problem the video card or the monitor itself? I have an Intel Pentium II laptop that I have had since 1997 with a Neomagic graph 128XD video card. Would just updating the video drivers solve the problem or do I have to get a new video card altogether?
Thanks

Is the laptop near some speakers, or perhaps a cordless phone or a flourescent lamp? Sounds like something is interfering.

... more likely failing (displlay panel) .... if no obvious interferance.... & presumming you haven't changed anything strange....
Many laptops have an external monitor port, you could connect up a pc monitor to that (if there is one?) to clear up whether its the display or the video card, but I think you'll find the display is failing, 6 years is ancient by 'computing' standards
