virus emails ! Are these for real
I am getting more emails like this. Are these for real or fake ?
Emails
FROM : Microsoft Corporation Internet Security Center <[email protected]>
TO : "Microsoft Corporation Consumer"@comcast.net <"Microsoft Corporation Consumer"@comcast.net>
SUBJECT: Microsoft Security Update
This message has been processed by Brightmail(r) Anti-Virus using
Symantec's AntiVirus Technology.
update801.exe was infected with the malicious virus W32.Gibe.B@mm and has been deleted because the file cannot be cleaned.

Judging by the email you posted, this is an email that didn't make it to you. It was stopped by antivirus on one of the mail servers that you accessed, or that the email was distributed through.

I have got those faux security updates from time to time. Scanning them with norton reveals thew same thing.
I am certainly glad I know better then to open an attachment without scanning it.
In this case you are better off by going to windows update then trust some e-mail
