windows Repair
Some time ago I saw on one of the posting a command that could be entered at the run command that did a check of the windows system. It would do any repairs that were needed. I can't remember what the command was. Hopefully someone out there will know.

There are two possible ones
I think you mean SFC
it stands for system file checker and can check all the system files for corruption
the other is
CHKDSK
which checks the hard drive
if you start run, type in cmd, click ok, in the box that opens you type in chkdsk /? you will get a list of switches that you can use with it.
