I have a Creative SBLive soundcard installed with latest drivers running under Win XP Home. When I run Harry Potter game the sound is distorted. I can sometimes remedy this by altering the mute settings of the various volume controls. There seems to be no pattern as to which settings to change as long as I change something then sometimes, but not always, the sound is restored. I have installed the game on my other PC which has an Aureal Vortex soundcard running Win XP Pro and it runs fine. I requested support from Creative but all they came up with was to install latest drivers which I already have. Anyone else had this problem and any ideas to resolve greatly appreciated.
