support emails...
what are people like?? really..
We are FSB account and have had major problems of late which you are aware. largely the problems have been resolved but we have had a problem today when accessing the web.
We are not regular web users but today an unfamiliar home page appeared; ' i-look up.' Behind it whilst it was still on the screen reduced in size was a porn page. With the home page still in front of it the whole lot was superimposed by a warning notice that said someone could be looking into our computer. We disconnected immediately. We have tried again this afternoon with no repeat of this problem but the prompt was unable to find the page we were looking for and presented instead a search listing of normal subjects but nothing to do with our enquiry. Suddenly a different warning notice appeared stating that we were not secure and could be being looked at. We again disconnected immediately.
In view of this we are not confident enough to use the web.
Your assistance please.
No girl deserves my tears, and the one who does will never make me cry.

Flabooble!
If this is a post of a users letter, hey they are users. That's why we get paid to help them. For a novice, what a computer does may as well be magic.

Oh I agree. Personally I have a wall filled with things like "uses unplugged cisco router so they could plug in floor waxing machine" and "users were putting new curtains up at facility and had to unplug the network stack to do so" , the whirley twirley thing on the printer is broken" and the like.
My favorites are the ones that come from other techs who haven't a clue but think they do. "The internet is down because we are getting proxy reports" and the like. I work with routers, proxy goes to the server group. Only told them 20 times...
Ahhh the users. I do so liove them.
