    flashing screen

    Need help quick it is gonna bust my eyes! Have a neighbors compaq EVO N610c here running win2k pro. The unit takes forever to boot and when it is completely booted the screen flashes like twice a second. Doesn't seem to be virus and shows no probs in device mgr. other then slow and proccess being chewed up by video nothing is running.

    Does it do it in safe mode?

    256 mb ram

    no it doesn't flash in safe mode

    Try updating the video driver then?
