    Dell Support

    I was reading a post here that mentioned contacting Dell to obtain driver help.

    I was just recently searching for the Integrated BroadCom Driver (Network Card). The client that I was looking into this for has a service and support contract with Dell, so I called them about the driver's location for 2000 (XP Pro came on the desktop). All I wanted to know was what the manufacturer's site was, but I slipped and first stated that I was trying to load 2000 on this XP box. They would not even budge and tell me what the manufacturer's site was.

    In this nice little conversation, I discovered that the woman to whom I was speaking, was located in India, and that Dell has been there for 8 mos. now!!!!!!

    Whoops,

    I forgot to mention that finding the driver did not matter anymore. I just contacted Dell so I would have one less thing to worry about. (looks like my encounter with Hell did not matter. I still had to look for it myself)
