Question Wireless on a powermac... Help!

I am not familiar with mac at all, but I have a client whom i set up a wireless network for their internet. They have several PCs, and one of the new imacs, which i was able to set up no problem. They have an older mac that they want to set up wth wireless internet too. They DO have USB ports, but I don't know anything else, except the model number -its a "Powerpc - Powermac 6500/250".

I have looked on apples site, but can't find a whole lot.

is there a USB wireless network adapter i can get to work with

    this?

    Thanks

I have a PowerPC 6400/200 set up on a wireless with a PCI nic I got from Outpost.com. SMC I think it is.

The 6500/250 has PCI slots as well.

most likly you will use the airport cards from apple for macs, but I thinkt here only pcmcia...

there are third party vendors who support mac osx on there hardware now for wireless, just get anything supported wireless adaater in your network range and it should work

    802.11a or 802.11b or 802.11g
