Video Capture Software
Anyone have recomendations for video capture software, preferably free (love those clients don't you?). Would be running on W2k so Windows Movie Maker is out.
Client just wants to take small video clips from his webcam to send to friends / relatives.
Don't need anything fancy.

Webcam that he got from a mate I believe, whatever that means it results in him not having any software to go with it.

Driver Terrier
The capture is usually bundled with the drivers... what webcam?

Good point NooNoo.
It's a Labtec, I'm downloading the driver package now, all 16 Mb of it so I assume that the software is bundled.
When I installed the webcam for him it actually found the drivers from Windows Update so I didn't need to go hunting. First time I have had that happen.
I'll have a look at the druver bundle and let you know.
