    Question Adaptec 7899 dual channel Ultra160/M controller

    Does anyone know if Adaptec makes win2k or winXP drivers for the Adaptec 7899 dual channel Ultra160/M controller.

    I am looking at a SGI 550 motherboard -dual P3 with onboard scsi but will need drivers for the ms os.

    I believe the drivers are native to both W2k And WindowsXP.

    just in case you have problems they are at the bottom of this page..different ones for xp than the rest of windows..also linux/unix drivers
