Got it out the rubbish

When I fire it up it requires a Bios Password which incidentally begins with P
When I press P I get two entries on the string.
All other keys enter 1 character into the string

It would be the BIOS PASSWORD!
But it looks as if I am dealing with a single key!

Sounds from what you say I am still going to have to rip the guts out the thing.
Well, if you don't want to go through all that, you can just send it to me...I'll even pay the shipping. I'm assuming it's still a viable piece if you are even considering all this work...?
