T3 was an extremely bland movie.

Don't get me wrong... the special effects were tremendous, the action shots wonderful, the chases, great, the combat fast and furious...

The movie was all packaging though, no substance to it. T2 was MUCH better.

Kinda reminds me of the Matrix, Jurassic Park, and Godzilla. All budget-heavy monsters made by people who don't understand that there actually still has to be a story somewhere underneath all that glitz or the movie won't work.

I still enjoyed seeing it, and don't regret paying the $ to do so.

Suppose those that instead of just judging this one all by its self, you were to take them in as the entire three.

The movie as a sequel did not need that much of a plot since the entire mythos has already been established. We already known the major characters, and the major plot lines.

Why try and reinvent the wheel?

I feel that the pacing was perfect....and the movie needed not be plot heavy for the fact that its the third one. It added just enough new stuff to not get people confused, but still keep them watching. Thats IMHO what a sequel should be.

My only complaint about the plot line in this one is they never covered how skynet was brought back up.

Of course thats an entire movie in and of itself I imagine.
So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.

People go into movies with TOO high of expectations and get mad when the movie doesn't live up to them. More even with T3 because T2 was even better then 1 so everyone thought 3 would be even better then T2. I always go into a movie thinking that it will be just ok. Sometimes I am surprised sometimes not.

Actually, I thought the first movie was better.
