If given enough time, informed and educated users will virtually always choose current Macintosh systems use over PC-based Windows systems. Now the part that can save you hundreds or maybe even thousands of dollars: If you are NOT using Macintosh computers in your business, then you are missing out on the greatest business tool you can have in your business! I recommend that if you are going to have only one computer in your office, make it a Macintosh. If you are going to add a second computer to the office, make THAT one a Macintosh. READ THIS AGAIN! This one little piece of advice will improve your business far more than having one PC or adding a second PC to your office.
I will admit that there are merits to both mac's and PC's, ( I am a PC fan), but WTF???
Also, I have built many machines for myself and customers that were "clones", and bought many for customers from shops that make them. I have never seen a machine that was overclocked unless asked to by the customer. This is what this "expert" needs.
The worst part is that you know there are people out there that will believe this.

Also, if the Windows crashes completely and you have to reinstall everything it can save you many hours of reinstalling because the brand names come with fast restore CDs.
Which version of "the windows" would this be?
It looks like this page has been (badly) translated from another language, IE marshian!

"For most home users a 1000Mhz Celeron or AMD is plenty fast enough"
He either means a 1Ghz Celeron or a 100mhz Celeron. I am presuming he missed a zero rather than forgetting that 1000mhz IS a gigahert. (although given the quality of his advice, I'm not really sure....)
My very first PC was a P233 which I got in 1998. By 2001 they thing was so slow and crashed so often I had to get a new one.
How can he possible say that a 100mhz is fast enough. For what? Word processing?? Adding & subtracting??? and for when, 1995?

Hmm...
From the section "most valuable advice you have ever read about computers":
"I have worked with only one IBM clone manufactured that I ever trusted, Empac."
From:
http://www.hollycrest.net/support.html
"Empac went out of business on May 11, 2001."
