    Mixed Nforce2 driverset

Messed around with the various betas and pulled driver releases and came up with this pack.

    ftp://[email protected]/nforcedriverset.rar

This pack manages to fix both the IDE busmastering issues and EAX issues for me under WinXP. Its also worked so for a couple people in chat. That said, I assume no responsibility if your system becomes demon possessed and strangles you with it's IDE cables or manages to die/burst into flames/hose your life's work. I think at least a few of you wishing for quality drivers for your Nforce2 board may enjoy these. They are not standalone and require a previous driver set installed. The updated files are listed in the readme. Good luck.

    ... a worthy thing ! (I gave it a whirl & everything seems hunky dory !)

Might I suggest you post it somewhere more permanent & accessable than your own ftp space ... I would have suggested here , but since you have to pay, perhaps Driverguide (tip: probably the worst kept secret on the net - login is 'drivers' password 'all'-saves registering) where you might get a stupid pop up or two but its free ! ...

... make sure you label it up 'good' when you submit it -some of the driver descriptions there are pants! ...

Oh edit ! :for information the file is 2.46mb & there's an annoying pop up too !
