    New Mods

    Bored as hell and caffiene are an interesting combo.

    Here are my 2 latest mods



    I replaced the center part of the door with plexi and cut out the dragon shape. Filter is attached behind the cutout and the dragon's eye is the hdd activity led. Behind the cutout is 92mm fan attached to the drive bay using zipties (heh). Lowered CPU temp from 107 to 105.

    Update: I got some Krylon Fuson and vinyl dyed the drives red.

    How did you cut it?

    I have used a dremmel for some of the things I do but it always comes out awful - I'm just no good at it. This looks professional. What did you do?

    Craftsman scrollsaw with the narrowest blade I could find. Used an X-acto and a file to clean up the edges. Scrollsaw is much better to use on plastics than the dremel in my opinion. Easier to cut where you want to when all you have to worry about is moving the piece.

    Btw, thanks. First serious mod I have done since my last case.
