unmountable_boot_volume
I did some research on this BSOD my girlfriends mom just got last night on her computer, it won't start up in safe mode so I had to come home and get my cd's to start and work on this thing, i am going to try and run a repair on the file system and see if that will get it kicking again.
if not, any suggestions, am i dealing with a bad drive??
i will be taking my lappy over in case i need to get on here to ask a question or to..
thanks guys

It seems that the boot.ini got changed, or the location of the boot drive got changed on the IDE chain.

Boot to the cd, then recovery console.
