I like that show Lucky on FX. I never used to watch Everybody Loves Raymond, so I've been catching up on the reruns of that show too.

Does it have to be T.V.? I recently got some Rodney Carrington CDs. I can't listen to them while driving, I'd have a wreck.

Reading P.G. Wodehouse. His writing is "new to me" and better than TV. Just picked up a Mark Twain compilation also called Mark Twains Advice for Bad Boys and Girls. Twain has always been pretty witty.

I recently discovered the TV series Black Books from the UK. It originally aired in 2000 and was written by Graham Lineham, co-writer of Father Ted, and comedian Dylan Moran. Moran plays Bernard Black the owner of Black Books. Bernard would be a good businessman except for his dislike of customers and reluctance to sell books. Between drinking and chain smoking Bernard abuses his customers and lone employee. The show has a Faulty Towers feel with a slightly darker edge.

Unfortunately Black Books is not available on DVD in Canada yet .

No need to be concerned. The voices in my head assure me I am completely sane.

I caught that first Reno 911!, I was rather dissappointed as the commercials were very good. Life with Busey is just out there.

Hey Silencio, make sure you read A Tramp Abroad, it is absolutly hilarious, Mark Twain, traveling by boat, seeing the entire med, with a boat full of people. I was crying at points.

Now that I think about it after reading your post CLeetus...your right.

Im with Busey is definately one of the more refreshing shows on TV right now.

Anyone catch the interview with the guy that does the show on Bob n Tom?

I wish I had a mp3 of that..it was funny as heck when he was talking about how they pitched the show to Busey and how he responded.

George Lopez show isnt to shabby either.
