    Lightbulb !!! I found ForteMedia drivers - NOW next problem :(

    At last I suddenly found drivers for my ForteMedia FM801-AU sp-801 PCI sound.
    Now next problem - it is too quiet . I almost can't hear it, however it is still works, still alive. I did changed IRQ, but no luck. Any guess ???...

    what do you mean you can't hear it? Is the volume up for all tabs? Wave, MIDI, CD, Main and so. If yes, then what kind of speakers are you using. Are they amplified? They should be. Some cards are weaker then others, and if they dont' have a separate amplifier they are even weaker.

    Is there any chance you have the speakers plugged into the wrong jack or the wrong power source for the speakers?

    I'm struggling with an FM801A card myself.
    But at this point, I do 'finally' have sound.
