[RESOLVED] !!! Need help with terrain.dll error in Flight Simulator 2000 !!!

Hello Guys,,

Fore your guidance I am a fan of Flight Simulator, now running the latest version FS2000 Pro Edition, looking for better frames rates and graphics I built a new computer with following configuration:

Mother board: MSI K7T Pro 2-A (via KT133 Chipset based)
CPU: AMD Athlon DDR memery 1.2 Ghz
Memory Ram: 384 (133)
Video card: Hercules ED Prophet Geforce 2 Ultra 64 MB
Sound card: Sound Blaster Platinum Live
Hard disk: IBM 46 GB

and I using Window 98 Second Edition as OS.

Well each time I run the FS2000 it gives me a error of terrain.dll, details as follows

also is giving sometimes g3d.dll and ddraw.dll errors, but not frecuently.

I downloaded the nvidia detonator 3 drivers and already installed and the error continue.

I have installed the FS2K many times, even playing it as default without any add on sceneries or aircraft, it run for a while, even I can fly for two or three minutes and then the error comes, and the FS2k crash
and has to be closed and restarted

Have you flashed your motherboard's BIOS to the latest version? Also, you should install the latest VIA 4-in-1 drivers. Both these updates fix a lot of problems on motherboards running the latest AMD CPUs...

Hi Steve,

First of all many thanks for your help and support.

For your guidamce I download the VIA 4-in-1 and installed and I ran my Flight Simulator
and it worked perfectly, no terrain.dll error, but suddenly it hang up, I reboot the Flight Simulator and again was the terrain. dll error..

I did not find the motherboard BIOS, I will look for it again today.
