ATI Radeon 7500 screwed up?
Hey guys,
I have a 1.3 Ghz computer with an ATI Radeon 7500 AGP in it. I installed the drivers from the ati cd on the computer but the card seems a little messed up. Every once and awhile when I start my computer up, after the windows me splash screen, the computer just goes blank. I restart (it is now in 16 colors) and I have to reinstall the radeon card to get it fixed again. Also, when I play games (half-life) I get strange transparent boxes on the screen. Does anyone know what the problem would be? Thank you.

See if this helps, go into your motherboard bios and set the AGP driving strength to 68, from the normal Auto setting...It helped me with some problems i had on an different motherboard..

I would also get the latest drivers from ATI from the internet. That'll also help out.

What chipset are you using? Apparently there is a known issue with the VIA 694x series and the Radeon 7500.
I had trouble trying to set up dual monitors with that card as well:

sounds like a via AGP issue. Actually it's identical to the one via had with the chipset used in FIC 503+ I'd try another AGP card to verify that it is not a global Chipset issue.
