2000 Advanced Server
Im trying to use the remote access ability built in the 2000 AD system and it works fine except when doing it from school. I believe that they have the port it runs through blocked off. Is there any way to change it to like port 80 or just change it? thanks

thanks for the links above. Just got a new problem now. Im using the new client download program 5.01 I believe it is. I setup my server computer to run through port 80 and i know that works fine because i got a connection to it from another computer. When i try to connect from the 2000pro machine though 2 things happen. When i type in the IP just strait not designating any ports it says service might not be enabled or computer is busy. When i type in the IP with :80 added to it the program just crashes. says error must close and restart program. doesnt happen when i add any other extensions other then :80. For the not service enabled I thought all I had to do was run the remote program on the client side and that my server would handle the rest. nothing other then the downloaded program needed. really have no idea what could be wrong with it. any help appreciated.
thanks

on the second link..
To Alter the Port on the Client Side
Open Client Connection Manager.
On the File menu, click New Connection, and then create the new connection. After running the wizard, you should have a new connection listed there.
Making sure that the new connection is highlighted, on the File menu, click Export. Save it as name.cns.
Edit the .cns file using Notepad changing "Server Port=3389" to "Server Port=xxxx" where xxxx is the new port that you specified on Terminal Server.
Now import the file back into Client Connection Manager. You may be prompted to overwrite the current one, if it has the same name. Go ahead and overwrite it. You now have a client that has the correct port settings to match your change Terminal Server settings.
