Very sad story indeed, and in my own backyard to boot. I can already tell you what the Government is going to do to make sure this happens again. Instead of putting the f**kers away for 25yrs like they deserve, they will get a 2 yr conditional sentence. Then the Government will ban drinking at campgrounds, probably ban campfires while they're at it. Why punninsh the people that commited the crimes ? I say lock em up and throw away the key. Make an example out of these poor excuses for human beings

It's our stupid canadian justice system. Waaaaaaaaaaay too lenient. They actually even addopted a new young offenders act where the cops are encouraged to let young offenders off with a warning not to do it again. WTF ??? Steal a car, get off with a warning. B & E , uh well you're only seventeen might as well send you home with a warning. What's that you killed a guy .... hmmmm 2 years seems about right. I say we gotta put some fear into these criminals , no wonder we're the murder capitol and car theft capital of Canada( per capita)

only 1 guy has been charged. He is being charged with manslaughter. His defense is already stating that a female companion felt threatned so they are claming self defense.

Oh yeah, there is definitly more news to come out about this, which is exactly what I was feeling after the first article. They were purposely leaving out way to much information.

Too bad they couldn't 'export' them to Texas. They'd give 'em a fair trial and hang 'em.
Mexico would be even better. The Federales would take him in the desert and shoot 'em. Leave his body for the buzzards...
