    Blocking RIAA spies?

Okay, I am not in this thread to discuss the legality or morality of P2P, so let's not go there, boys and girls...

But what do you all think of this privacy measure?

    Hi there,

Kazaa Lite Kpp++ v2.4.2 got it intergraded. Check it out...

I think that RIAA have gone way too far, attacking loyal customers who are buying CDs. I don't even bother buying CDs, even downloading them. I just listen to Japanese Anime musics. Some are far and way better. I don't really dislike P2P, but it's a way to try before you buy.

I do want to point out that RIAA keep saying that they are losing money and going out of business. Keep saying that since tapes, VHS, CDs and now DVDs recordiable media. Strange world, but all of these type of media and players have a tax that is directly sent to the RIAA to compesate the artists, as you pointed out and proven, not even a cent go to them. Blah, just RIAA are much of c***suckers.

What do I think? I think it just shows that the recording industry still is blinded to the fact that this will never, never , never, never, (you get the picture) be stopped. I don't care to argue the morality or the legality of the situation either. I'd love to talk about the stupidity of the recording industry and state that they are missing out on an opportunity.

Instead of fighting this why don't they just invest in it and do their best to controll the disemination of the media they produce? They could offer scads of video/audio media without the cost of actually utilizing the physical media, transporting and having to sell it through a vendor. They could offer more and hard to find items for downlaod and use their own version of file sharing and license it. To be honest, I'd pay for a service that offered every movie and song for download that controlled things so that viruses and hacker threats could be minimized. The solution to this crap stares them in the face and they keep fighting a war they can't win.

If it's not on a website, it'll be on mirc, any of a bazillion files sharing programs, through e-mail or IM or whatever. People will share this stuff no matter what and they need to stop and proffit from it by offering better quality content for $$$ on a better file sharing program that is regulated by them.
