Jedi Academy
So is anyone other than myself playing this game?
If you liked any of the other jedi knight games, you will love this one. You actually start ought with a light saber! No more spending an hour or two until you start to learn the force and get a saber!
You also have the option later in the game to switch to dual light sabers or a double bladed saber (a la Darth maul).
Right now i'm trying to find a way around a rankor that has been unleashed in a large hanger (trying not to get eaten) while battling with 2-3 dark jedi at a time.
The game engine appears to be the same as in Jedi Outcast, so there is some wierd stuff that is funny to see but does not detract from the gameplay (the engine apparently does not have collision detection, so in cutscenes peoples hands mode through walls and other solid objects).
If you like the whole Star Wars gaming franchise, pick this game up. You will not be dissapointed (unless you find the lack of collision detection during cut scenes dissapointing).

Yes it is a very good game. The dual saber is awesome!

i played and beat the game while it was still beta but it is an amazing game, lets you customise your player and your choise of lightsabe, handle, blade colour, will also let you pick your fighting style, which is a first i believe
if you are stuck at that part the key to that one is using the force speed to out run everyone and either dont bother fighting the jedi's or just hop up on a tall ledge out of harms way and let the monster kill everyone, there is only about 5 levers you need pull to complete the mission

I finished that level when I got home after posting that. I have now finished it on the light and dark sides (woot 2 endings!)
Currently trying out the multiplayer, but there are not many servers around yet, so there is either nothing but full servers, or nothing but empty servers with a ping over 300.
