Cruelty to animals picture
Okay, be forwarned, some people may not fine this near as amusing as I did when I took the picture or, quite possibly, not amusing at all. However, I'm going to post it all the same for the people that will enjoy. By the way, this was my snake's dinner so I didn't go kill a mouse for this.

Hilarious!!!!
Of course, I own snakes as well, so it didn't offend me.
What type of snake you got? Mine are corn snakes, and I feed them live mice (Slink and Spike seem to prefer them that way).

1 corn snake and 2 ball pythons. I feed all frozen (thawed) mice.

That mouse has his demographics all wrong. Snakes can’t eat chicken! What about “eat more frog”!?!

I used a feeding bin for live when I had teh snakeys. Keeps them from asociating anything that drops into the cage with food and keeps you bite free. It really works too.
Got an awesome image of a mouse getting eaten tail first by a baby ball. Can't post right now, no access to ftp to web host.

Yea, when you get a chance, post that... I'd like to see it. I always take my snakes out and hold them while waiting for their food to thaw. Then, I get it into the tank before putting them back in just so it is waiting for them.

Slink has gotten to the point where he flicks his tongue at me a few times when reaching into the cage...I've only ever gotten bitten once, that was when he smelled mouse, and his eyes were glazed over just before he shed. Spike's a bit smaller, he usually waits until the mouse is on the cage floor before he crawls out after his dinner.
I'd like to see the pic as well.

With corn and king snakes the bites aren't really bad so it's not so big of a deal but when you have a big guy loke a boa or a burmese or rock python or something it's kind of crucial. You don't wan't to get bit by one of the big pythons, it freakin hurts. My bud fed his boa in tank always and gave her to me and I, being used to my docile snake, got nailed changing the water, rammed my arm through the side of the aquarium with the water bowl breaking both. Snake came along for the ride and as it was being pulled the teeth came out of my arm with a sound like velcro. I did more harm breaking the plastic and glass than the snake did with it's double row of teeth. Learned respect for 7 foot snakes that day.
Anyway, here be the pic:
Snake eating mouse backwards, close up.

Non Funny

Nice pic, thanks.
I was in getting some mice for my snakes one day and some drunk bastard came in wanting to hold the snakes. Generally, the store (Aquatic Critter) doesn't allow handling of their snakes from non buyers but they made an exception in this case. I'm sure he still felt the bite from the 6 1/2 foot Emerald Tree Boa the next morning.

Can't believe they let anyone hold it, that's an expensive, hard to find critter.

Errr there's been much, much worse before, & this is hardly 'bad' - the backwards eating snake is worse or the 'puking' snake (or whatever it's doing !)
