    Post Banshee

I have just put a second hand Banshee card in my old pc. It was made by Joytech who conveniently don`t support it anymore. Anyhow, I managed to find a driver on the net. It is an Apollo Banshee. I had to reformat the pc to get the system to recognise the driver. It still warned me that this driver is not written for this hardware. The FCC code for the card is
fqi 3dbssgagp if you want to try and find out more for me. I have never had so much trouble loading a driver. It nearly became a flying banshee. I tried the generic windows drivers and they don`t work.

I completely agree with getting the drivers from voodoofiles.com (I'm running a 16MB generic AGP Banshee card in my PC at work).

I highly recommend the Xpentor Optimizers drivers (don't forget the registry tweak, it makes a difference!).
