Finally 2nd release
As some of you know I have had plans and have been working on a Car Computer for my 2003 WRX
will its been installed and working for about 2 months now, I wanted to test and get as much bugs out of it as I could before I posted more info about it. Will I would like to announce the KMenu 1.72 the menu software I use and created for my car computer has been released, this is the second version I have released to the public. I have also posted the src to KMenu for those that would like to change add patch whatever to KMenu.

You could just download the source and run it. You could get all the screen shots you want that way

yeah that's looking pretty sweet, kinda like a myhtpc or freevo for your car.
damn everytime i see those i keep wanting to pimp out the media player to a htpc on my system.
as far as a car goes you're talking to a guy with a low class CD player with the headphone to tape converter. i'll be darned if i can figure out how to tear apart the dash of a 98 cavalier.

Damn it. Just when I gave up on plans to make a car PC I find something like this...
This is excellent.
dremaztech has a point, you could market this. You need to hook up with a place around you that does car mods, etc.

well i took a 650 mile road trip and this thing work great, GPS when i needed it, and movies to watch to make the 8 hour trip seem faster...
