Post OK, i fried a new Gigabyte moards BIOS, need a little help

Was in a hurry last night while updating the BIOS.

Flashed the BIOS with a zip file, (I know I'm dumb) now i need a few tips on how to get my original BIOS back, or somewhere where i could order a new bios chip.

    Any help would be great.

1.If motherboard still can boot from floppy,You can use original AMI/AWARD (depends on what You had before it happened) BIOS recovery procedure. Read my topic here: http://forums.windrivers.com/cgi-bin...&f=17&t=005214
    2. Many of GigaByte's motherboards have BIOS chip in PLCC package, though. Unless you have special PLCC-DIP converter, that chip You cann't reprogram using another motherboard as host.I've build that converter by myself, but I guess,You haven't that converter.
    I don't know,what chip type (and package) You have,though...
4.If it's DIP 2Mbit flash BIOS,that chip can be reprogrammed back using mentioned in my topic methods.
    3. If You have flash chip in PLCC case, not so much You can do... You should order new chip directly from motherboard's manufacturer or use www.badflash.com service. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">
